Moove Brings Lifebuoy Hand Sanitisers Closer to Public at Eight DTL and NEL Train Stations

27 September 2016 – Germs are everywhere, but we are not helpless against them. In fact, we can prevent them from spreading by keeping our hands clean.

To educate and encourage the public to do so, Unilever Singapore has tapped on leading Out-Of-Home media owner, Moove Media, to place Lifebuoy hand sanitisers at eight MRT stations along SBS Transit’s Downtown Line (DTL) and North East Line (NEL), as part of the “Lifebuoy Infection Alert System” campaign.

Commuters travelling through these train stations – DTL’s Bukit Panjang, Little India, Bugis and Downtown as well as NEL’s Dhoby Ghaut, Chinatown, Serangoon and Sengkang stations – can simply dispense the hand sanitiser anytime – for free.  Commuters’ response has been encouraging and the hand sanitisers are replenished twice a week.

Said Mrs Jayne Kwek, CEO of Moove Media: “The idea behind placing the hand sanitisers at the eight train stations was to bring our client’s product closer to the commuting public. Being able to try the product allows them to create a better impression of the product.”

Ms Vicki Ting, Brand Manager, Unilever Singapore, said: “Lifebuoy believes that prevention is better than cure and germ protection solutions can be simple yet effective. This campaign allows us to provide a timely reminder to commuters that good hygiene habits can go a long way in helping us and our family stay healthy, even when germs are all around us.”

Prevent the spread of germs and use the Lifebuoy free hand sanitisers at these train stations before the campaign ends on 26 October 2016.
