Moove Organises Competition to Engage Young Business Talents for Second Year Running


4 March 2013 – Moove Media Pte Ltd, the advertising arm of ComfortDelGro, has since 1 March 2013, launched the much-anticipated young business talent competition for the second year running.

Called “Moove Media Hails Young Business Talents” (MMHYBT), this competition aims to provide students from local tertiary institutions the exposure of working in a commercial environment, and the opportunity to win an advertising internship in Sydney, Australia.

In all, 28 students from seven different schools – ERC Institute, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Management University, Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic – will compete through a series of challenges aimed at testing their entrepreneurship skills. Working in groups of four, students are to complete tasks based on real-life work scenarios over a span of three days.

Teams will be evaluated on the challenges they complete by judges across various industries as well as lecturers from the seven schools. The team with the highest score at the end of the three days will win an all-expense paid one-week internship at Moove Media Australia, including airfare, accommodation and daily allowances. The winning team will also be given free media space on the wallscape at Dhoby Ghaut station along SBS Transit’s North East Line as well as the back of a single deck bus in recognition of their success.
