18 December 2012 – Commuters passing through SBS Transit’s North East Line’s (NEL) HarbourFront train station can now bring a memento of our City’s feathered wildlife home with them.
Moove Media, ComfortDelGro’s advertising arm, has installed three-dimensional-effect stickers featuring boulders and rocks of all sizes on the floor in front of a mural with vibrant pink flamingoes. These rocks and boulders, which appear flat on the floor to the naked eye, “pop up” to look like real ones on camera. This novelty, the first-of-its-kind for transit advertising, is part of Wildlife Reserves Singapore’s (WRS) latest media campaign to promote the launch of Jurong Bird Park’s High Flyers Show, which is an educational showcase of the birds’ natural behaviours of flight, mimicry, and how they forage for food.
Said Mrs Jayne Kwek, CEO of Moove Media: “It’s exciting to see how far we have evolved with transit advertising at our NEL stations. There’s no better way to kick-start our inaugural three-dimensional-effect floor stickers than to use them to bring the City’s wildlife closer to Singaporeans.”
“Passers-by at the Harbourfront MRT station can immerse themselves in the Jurong Bird Park experience with this unique 3D creative. The backdrop showcasing our most vibrant birds from the High Flyers Show will momentarily transport them into a world where colour lives. We welcome members of the public to take fun shots of themselves at this innovative 3D creative, and bring just a little bit of Jurong Bird Park home with them,” said Ms Isabel Cheng, Chief Marketing Officer, Wildlife Reserves Singapore.
The campaign ends on 26 December 2012.
