YEO’s Concept Bus Takes Commuters to the Beach

4 January 2017 – You recline on a “deck chair”, “sand” beneath your feet. You look up – it is the “clear blue” sky – only you are not on the beach but in a bus! Commuters can now dream of chilling out at the beach in a tropical island.

To launch Yeo’s latest offering – 100% Coconut Water – Yeo’s and Moove Media transformed a SBS Transit single deck bus into one with a tropically theme. The campaign objective is to get commuters to think of Yeo’s 100% Coconut Water as a natural thirst quencher for Singapore’s hot humid weather.

All 35 of the seat cushions were replaced with customised PVC cushions resembling beach deck chairs in bright cheery colours. Floor stickers in the form of a sandy beach and a board walk lined the bus floor from the front entrance to the rear, while a blue sky sticker lined the ceiling. This is Yeo’s first concept bus with Moove. It did not take long for Moove Media and Yeo’s to come up with the idea. In all, it took Moove just a week to execute.

Said Mrs Jayne Kwek, CEO of Moove Media: “We are thrilled to tie up with Yeo’s for the first time to launch this concept bus. A concept bus does more than a normal body wrap. It brings the advertisement to where the commuters are and draws them into an experience. This helps to strengthen product recall.”

The campaign runs on bus service 5, be sure to catch it while you can!
