Moove Media Salutes NSmen With 3D “Mobilisation Man” Ads On Buses

5 June 2017 – The safety and security of this nation is not something we should ever take for granted.

And we have our National Service (NS) men to thank for as the Ministry of Defence, Singapore (MINDEF) celebrates 50 years of NS this year. To honour our NSmen, Moove Media has teamed up with MINDEF’s creative agency Formul8 to roll out 50 army-themed buses, that will be travelling islandwide, including Bishan, Clementi and Shenton Way.

All 50 buses will be wrapped in pixelised patterns used in the design of standard Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) uniforms. Of these, 25 single decks will have a 1.8m tall “mobilisation man” each installed on the rooftop. The “mobilisation man” is a well-known icon, closely associated with NSmen. In all, it took Moove Media less than a month to fabricate and install on all 25 buses.

Said Mrs Jayne Kwek, CEO of Moove Media: “Our NSmen are the foundation of Singapore’s national defence and we are glad to work with MINDEF in commemorating NS50. The ‘mobilisation man’ is indeed iconic and will be effective in reaching the masses, in line with the campaign’s objective of celebrating NS50 nationwide.”

The NS50 campaign will run from today to 27 August 2017.
